Example of a Basic Header

 

Retrieving full header information is slightly different for each mail program. For specific details on retrieving the header information for your particular mail client, visit header page.

Note that the full header information contains several lines with the word "Received:" followed by additional information. If you do not see the word "Received:" you are not displaying the full header information that the Security Office needs to track the message.
