SOS's digital forensics analysts use forensics analysis to thoroughly examine a computer system using software and tools to extract and preserve evidence.

The EIPS team use Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) tools to discover and prevent internal and external attacks and compromised systems on the network.
PII Scanning
With the help of software from Identity Finder, Penn State is working to identify, remove, and/or protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from University assets.
