How to View a Status Bar

The status bar, if enabled (visible), is found at the bottom of a browser window. It may or may not be enabled, but the user can change this setting.

 

What the status bar looks like

Status Bar
To view the status bar in Internet Explorer
  1. Select 'View'
  2. Place a tick next to 'Status Bar'

To view the status bar in Netscape Navigator
  1. Select 'View'
  2. Select 'Show/Hide'
  3. Place a tick next to 'Status Bar'
